Nathan Fitch
Nathan started his martial arts training in 1997 while attending Eastern Kentucky University. Aikido was the first art he pursued. At the same time, Nathan also began studying Judo with Eastern Kentucky University Judo. While he continued his Aikido training for an additional year to the point of blue belt, he ultimately put his focus into Judo. Nathan then went on to become EKU Judo’s Assistant Instructor in 2000 and to receive his Black Belt in 2001. Beginning in 2000, Nathan also began training in Muay Thai. After graduating from EKU in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Fitness and Wellness Management, Nathan began personal training and teaching Judo while continuing his Muay Thai training. In 2004, he competed twice in amateur Mixed Martial Arts. From November 2005 to March 2006, Nathan lived and trained in Thailand with Fairtex Muay Thai. He spent his first month with Fairtex in Bangplee and then traveled to Pattaya to complete his training. While in Thailand, Nathan had his first professional Muay Thai fight during Fairtex’s grand opening of its Pattaya training facility. Upon returning home, Nathan continued teaching Judo and began teaching Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts. Nathan is also a two stripe blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Some of Nathan’s students have participated in various amateur and professional Mixed Martial Arts events. Nathan has also been an ACE certified personal trainer since 2002, and he is certified in Sports Nutrition
Jared Combs
Jared has been an accomplished wrestler since high school. He was a state runner up in 1996 and was an undefeated State Champion in 1997. In college, Jared was a four time NCAA qualifier and an All American wrestler in 2002. Jared has been an assistant wrestling coach for Elder High School, as well as an assistant for the College of Mt. St. Joe. He has coached multiple NCAA qualifiers and state placers and champs. Jared is currently a Mixed Martial Arts fighter with an amateur record of 4-1 and a professional MMA fight record of 2-0. Jared was also an International Fight League draft qualifier.
Luke Bubenzer
Luke is a first year law student at Northern Kentucky University and a brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt under Michael O'Donnell, a Carlson Gracie, Jr. black belt. He wrestled in high school, and started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after he graduated in 2001. An experienced teacher, Luke served as head coach of the Arifjan Combat Club in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait during his time overseas in 2006-2007. Upon returning, he continued teaching as an instructor at Four Seasons Mixed Martial Arts in Lexington, KY until May 2010. He is a certified level three instructor in the Modern Army Combatives Program, and took second place out of 66 fighters in the 2009 All Army Combatives Tournament. He has an amateur MMA record of 2-2. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
